Garden and Sea Inn is approximately 15-20 minutes by car depending on traffic.

Yes. Garden and Sea Inn is a pet-friendly bed and breakfast and welcomes well-behaved dogs in our Garden House rooms - Sandpiper, Lighthouse, Champagne and the Chablis Suite in the Yellow House. Guests traveling with pets should review the inn’s pet policy prior to booking.


I have pet allergies. Are all rooms pet-friendly at Garden and Sea Inn?

No. Rooms in the main Victorian home are NOT pet-friendly. Pets are not allowed in the dining room or pool area.


Are there pet-friendly beaches near Garden and Sea Inn?

Yes. Several nearby beaches, including the Maryland side of Assateague Island, allow dogs with leash requirements. The Virginia side does not allow dogs – not even in the car. What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is 3pm-10:30pm for Self Check-In . The host is generally available from 4pm-5pm. Check-out is 10:30am. Guests with special arrival needs are encouraged to contact the inn directly.
